Fran George, Director of Peace Counseling Center

Fran George received her Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Columbia University in 1975. After being licensed in California in 1983, she developed the first sexual abuse treatment program in Alameda County and began a private practice specializing in sexual abuse, attachment and bonding, and issues of children and adolescents in foster care. Fran has done expert witness testimony and training in the areas of sexual abuse and  attachment and custody and since 2009 has worked as a clinical supervisor in the Youth Mental Health (YMH) and Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Services for Adults (ODASA) at Asian American Recovery Services in San Mateo County.
