Grace Waves
Friends:
The power of prayer surpasses every work we might undertake for God’s glory, since it joins our desire for the world’s healing to the mercy of the Holy Spirit. Intercession directs us in generous love to the needs of our brothers and sisters; the more we hunger for the world’s healing, the more we gain intimacy with the abba-son-spirit God.

I hope you experienced a rich Christmas Season. Such joyful music and bells and gladness of heart. Nothing can match the beauty of our children and the stillness of spirit we share at Christmas. Thanks to those who put up the tree with its decorations and those who took the tree down along with its decorations.
Thanks to Bill for his Art Docent Tours this past Sunday. We are surrounded by so many gifts whenever our eyes and hearts are opened to receive them.
And thanks to Frank Menkel for his beautiful contributions to our current art exhibit!
Our own Christine Hartmann’s Art Exhibit “I Stand at Your Gate” is now on display at San Damiano Franciscan Retreat Center. They have only recently begun hosting Exhibits at San Damiano and Bill Carmel has been their ‘exhibit development guide’.
Keep in your prayers: those killed in the cowardly attacks in France; for those in the cold; that we might experience the wisdom of the Wise Ones.

The Erik Jekabson Sextet was a knockout this past Sunday. As one guest told me, “I never take this for granted. What an amazing chance to get myself regenerated every month.”

Dance like nobody’s watching; love like you’ve never been hurt. Sing like nobody’s listening; live like it’s heaven on earth.” ~Mark Twain
