Saxophonist/clarinetist Harvey Wainapel (pronounced “Wine-apple”) has been an active professional for 50 years, and has toured the world in the bands of Ray Charles, Joe Lovano, and Airto Moreira/Flora Pu-rim, as well as presenting his own music in 17 countries. He has assembled an A-team of the Bay Area’s finest musicians.

 

The Harvey Wainapel Quartet will present a mix of original jazz compositions, standard tunes, tunes we believe SHOULD be standards, plus some Brazilian spice!

 

Vibrant music and heartfelt connections make this an evening you won’t forget!  Concert begins at 5:00.  No ticket is required; free-willing donations keep the music alive.  Jazz Church West happens the first Sunday of the month October through June.  Learn more HERE.
