Come enjoy dinner and watch Queen Bees, our first Senior ROM-Com, on July 26th! Dinner begins at 6:00 with the film at 6:30.
Helen Wilson always remembers to lock the door, but can’t remember to take her keys. Result? A burnt out kitchen. While month-long repairs are underway, she stays at a retirement community. A big change for the fiercely independent and totally self-absorbed widow. She encounters lusty widows and widowers, cutthroat bridge tournaments, a shirtless hunky aerobics teacher and a hotbed of bullying “mean girls.” An incredible cast with Ellen Burstyn, James Caan, Ann-Margaret, Loretta Devine, Jane Curtin, Christopher Lloyd, Pablo Leon and Ricky Russert (the always shirtless hunky aerobics instructor). Run time 100 min., rated PG 13 – Parents Strongly Cautioned – Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.
Dinner menu is TBD, we are planning a BBQ if a gas grill is available for use.
Suggested donation $10; scholarships are available. Or bring a favorite dish to share as part of the semi-potluck.
