Friday Films

You’re invited to Friday Films to share in dinner and a movie!  Dinner is at 6:00 and the film begins at 6:30.

This month dinner will be a potluck.  If you are looking for ideas of what to bring, talk with Elana.  Even if you can’t bring a dish, we still hope you’ll join us for a fun evening.  We’ll be watching The Golden Compass.

In a faraway land twelve year old Lyra Belacqua (Dakota Blue Richards) sets out to rescue her friend Roger, and ends up on an extraordinary quest to save not only her own world, but ours and others as well. Based in Sir Richard Pullman’s book, Northern Lights, The Golden Compass is a fantasy adventure film which won an Academy Award and two UK BAFTA awards., It stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Sam Elliott, Eva Green and Christopher Lee.
