Celebrating Pride Month at Peace

We’re celebrating Pride Month at Peace! Peace has been an open and affirming congregation since 1991.
Each Sunday in June will include a PRIDE moment, and then on June 28, the whole service will celebrate Peace and the LGBTQ+ community.
June 7 – Introduction to PRIDE at Peace; special music by Jordan
June 14 – The History of Becoming RIC in 1991; shared memories; blessing of the new PRIDE banner
June 21 – Being an LGBTQ+ Ally; shared stories
June 28 – What Does it Mean to Be a Welcoming, RIC Church Today? Shared reflections
