The Arts are vital for our spiritual community. Rotating art exhibits, poetry, melody, and dance stir our imagination and sense of the Sacred. As Rumi said, "Let the Beauty we love Be what we Do!" We delight in the creativity of the Artists at Peace and beyond.

NEXT UP on April 6th
The James Mahone Quartet
Jazz at Peace is a direct descendant of the famous Jazz Vespers in New York City. This began when drummer Max Roach approached Rev John Gensel in 1962 and said, “We’re both doing a spiritual gig, but I can’t make it on Sunday mornings. What are you going to do about it?” The Jazz Church was born in NY and has transformed into an Interfaith Celebration called Jazz at Peace on the West Coast. Steve Harms adds inspiration and improvisational poetry.
Come as you are and enjoy free jazz music!
You’ve got to hear these phenomenal improvisational artists — cool, soulful, hilarious, and guaranteed to lift your spirits! A reception with small bites and a wine bar follows. Audience donations keep the jazz alive.
