Judy Collins is now receiving Hospice Care. Please keep she and Rich, Jason, Ben and Nicholas, Matt and Jen, Greg and Tioni and grandchildren in your prayers.

The Eco-Friendly Haus Tour at the Pfieffer’s home happens after worship this Sunday from 12:30 – 2:30. Directions will be available after worship. Come with friends and enjoy learning/seeing a variety of energy saving, cost efficient and earth respectful practices and devices which the Pfeiffer’s have installed in their home. Additional parking (under shade trees) is available across the street at the Greenbrook Elementary School parking lot at the corner of Harlan Drive and Saint Helena Drive. Guests are invited to bring your own cup or glass for refreshments – so we don’t end up with a pile of garbage after an eco event!

The Greening Committee will meet at 1:15 at the Pfeifer home.

The Lector Team will meet after worship for an hour on September 12 to renew clarity and joy about this significant ministry. If you would like to learn more about the proclaiming of the scriptures please join in.

On September 26th, Martha Mantei will be participating in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Community Walk in San Francisco. AFSP continues to be at the forefront of research into the mood disorders that can lead to suicide. During the last year, she has expanded her role with survivor programs by volunteering for the position of Survivor Outreach Program Coordinator for the Greater SF Bay Area Chapter of AFSP. As survivors of suicide loss, they visit the newly bereaved to offer support and resources to help them in the early days of their healing journey.
