Jazz Church West hosted a Grand Celebration for Rev. Bob Lesher on his 60th Ordination Anniversary. John Calloway and Efrain Toro percussively accompanied Pr. Ruth Lesher as she gave a heartfelt tribute to her father. Because of John’s fine Latin Jazz Quintet – Clave Unplugged – and Bob’s playful spirit, many guests expressed pure surprise and delight at being honored to participate in such a rare and joyful celebration. And the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta which followed was devoured promptly. Congratulations, Bob!
