Youth Group

About Our Church Youth Group

The youth ( 9th through 12th Grade) meet on the 2nd Saturdays and 4th Fridays of each month.
Our church youth group reflects on life issues, current events, spirituality, Bible study, faith history, and explore other faith traditions. We load up on the building blocks of the faith and then put that faith into action in our church and community.  A team of parents from our Youth and Family Ministry assist in coordinating activities for the youth.
Activities  have included working on the Peace mosaic, participating in a local walk for hunger, walking the streets of the Tenderloin with the Night Ministry, visiting the seminary, helping with the Winter Night’s Shelter as well as participation in the Music or Percussion Group on Sundays….plus special worship contributions at Christmas.
For more information about Youth Ministry at Peace Lutheran Church, please contact Pr. Steve at [email protected].

Our Youth Group visited, sang and prayed with the elders at Danville

Youth in Action…

This summer Jack O’Neill once more organized and shipped 15 boxes of soccer equipment and educational materials to the youth groups in Lwamondo Parish, South Africa – our Partners in Ministry.  This sports equipment has proven valuable for both the building of community in Lwamondo and for the fun it creates.  These photos show some of the work accomplished by the 12 – 14 volunteers who assisted Jack.

Thanks to Jack and Friends who make our global friendships real!
