“You don’t need to keep searching for the truth, just let go of your opinions.”
It will be a fun Sunday with the Father’s Day Celebration, the Baptism of Rilee Parker, and BBQ and steel drum music after church. Please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets, umbrellas and hats so you can enjoy the sunshine and each other. In light of last Sunday’s homily I trust you’ll appreciate all the “sinners” you get to hang out with at Peace.
Ro invites those interested in a Green Ministry (solar, recycling, etc) at Peace to join him for conversation during the BBQ on the front lawn.
The Property Committee will have a Survey for you this Sunday – just in time for Dad’s Day.
As you can see, our new website is up and running. Pass the link to your friends and family so they can explore what’s happening at Peace. Along with the general content that’s already available through the navigation bar at the top of the page, we’ll be continually updating the site by announcing and following up on events held at the church and in the community along with posting the weekly Good News. Our normal method for emailing the Good News will be discontinued so that it can be distributed through the website. Each time new content is added here an email will automatically be sent to all registered email addresses. To register put your email address into the space provided in the right hand column and select “Subscribe.” Within a short time you’ll receive a confirmation email that will ask you to click a validation hyperlink included in the body of the email. Once you do that, you’ll receive new website content in email each time it’s added. No additional email spam will be generated by registering for the website updates.
Feel free to thank Pr. Anita for the incredible design and organizational work she has done to make the website come alive! The Good News will now be sent through our website. In order to receive the Good News you will need to register for it.

Jazz at Peace concluded its Third Season with a phenomenal evening last Sunday. Gerry Grosz composed 3 new pieces just for us! A beautiful combination of vibes, bass and woodwinds. Here’s a portion from a letter of appreciation that was sent to us:
Just a note to thank you so much for another wonderful season of outstanding Jazz at Peace. Everyone I saw was great from Anton Schwartz, to The Marcus Shelby Big Band (quite a feat to get all those musicians into the church!), to Mad & Eddie, and Gerry Grosz, and all the others.
What a fabulous opportunity for us on this side of the tunnel to have such a quality program available – in our own back yard! What a blessing for us all to have you among us to give us your pearls of wisdom as well.
Blessings, Pr. Steve
